Experience liters of water fun in our heated indoor pool! You can swim relaxed laps in the 20-meter pool or race down the water slide. For the little ones, there is a children's pool that is divided into two parts: a paddling pool of 15 cm and one of 40 cm depth. The pool is open for supervised recreational swimming, supervised lane swimming and unsupervised recreational swimming. Swimming is at your own risk. Please note that the pool is also used for swimming lessons and is not open to park guests at that time. For current opening hours, please check the website or ask at our reception.

PLEASE NOTE: On June 8 and 9, the showers at the swimming pool cannot be used. Due to maintenance work, the water supply is temporarily shut off. You can still continue to use the swimming pool.

Hop on a bike and enjoy a day exploring the West Frisian countryside! We offer unisex bikes, e-bikes, children’s bikes, and bike accessories.

Want to rent a bike on the spot? We keep a limited supply at the front desk. To avoid disappointment, please book online in advance. Bikes can be picked up at the front desk.

The bicycle must be returned to the front desk by 4:30 p.m. at the latest on the day of return.

Feel the freedom and explore the waters around Medemblik and the beautiful West Frisian countryside with your own boat, or rent a boat at our holiday park. Choose from a motorboat or a sloop. Thanks to its ideal location on the IJsselmeer and Markermeer, Medemblik offers an extensive network of boating routes.

Please note: Our rental boats are not allowed on the IJsselmeer. Always follow the designated routes shown on the boating map you receive from us. If you have your own boat, it is permitted to sail on the IJsselmeer.

Enjoying a holiday together with your dog? At EuroParcs IJsselmeer, your loyal four-legged friend is more than welcome. While you relax by the IJsselmeer, your dog can enjoy nature, walking routes and the many opportunities to explore the surroundings together.

A dog leash policy applies throughout the park to keep the environment pleasant and safe for everyone. Waste bags and waste bins are available throughout the park to help keep the surroundings clean and enjoyable. Dogs are also welcome in the restaurant and on the terrace.

The area around EuroParcs IJsselmeer is perfect for long walks with your dog. Opposite the park you will find De Vooroever recreation area, a beautiful nature and leisure area along the IJsselmeer where you can enjoy walking together. There are also special dog beaches and designated off-leash areas nearby.

Good to know:

• Pets are allowed in selected accommodations
• Dogs must be kept on a leash in the park
• Dogs are welcome in the restaurant and on the terrace
• Waste bags and waste bins are available throughout the park
• There are walking routes, dog beaches and off-leash areas nearby
• A mop is available to quickly clean up any accidents
• There is no crate or dog shower available at the accommodation

In short: a relaxing holiday where both you and your dog can enjoy the water, nature and beautiful surroundings of the IJsselmeer together.

Fishing from your own dock at EuroParcs IJsselmeer
At EuroParcs IJsselmeer, you can enjoy a relaxing vacation right on the water. Our park is located on the Vliet and is a true paradise for fishing enthusiasts. All vacation homes have their own dock. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just casting a line for fun, you’ve come to the right place. The waters surrounding the park are known for their diverse fish population. You’ll find pike, zander, carp, bream, and roach, among others. That makes every day of fishing different and full of surprises. 
You do not need a fishing license within the park itself. However, if you plan to fish in the surrounding waters, a fishing license is required. For more information or advice, please feel free to contact our reception desk; we are happy to assist you. You can catch species such as carp, bream, roach and zander. For more information about fishing in the area, please visit the Visit Medemblik website. 

Swimming from the jetty is allowed, but please be cautious when diving: the depth varies between 80 and 100 cm.

EuroParcs IJsselmeer has 8 electric vehicle charging stations available for guests. Charging an electric vehicle at the accommodation is strictly prohibited. If we observe this, vehicle access to the park will be revoked immediately, except for accommodations that are equipped with a private EV charging facility.

The charging stations located at the rear section of the park are temporarily out of service.

At the reception of EuroParcs IJsselmeer you will find a small mini-market with a small assortment of basic groceries. Handy if you have forgotten something. The minimarket is open during reception opening hours.

All our bungalows are located on the water of De Vliet. A perfect place to bring your own boat. Thanks to the trailer ramp at our park you can easily take your boat out on the water to sail around. Then you can moor your boat at the jetty of your bungalow. Note: Would you like to bring your own boat? Then please contact the reception in advance about the conditions to avoid disappointment. There are a number of requirements There are a number of requirements for bringing a boat:

• The trailer ramp is 6 meters long. The boat can therefore not be longer than 6 meters.
• The depth at the bungalows varies from 50 to 100 cm.
• If you want to sail to the IJsselmeer with your own boat, you have to take into account a passage height of 1.40 meters.
• On the other side of the dike lies the Regatta Center, where berths are available for a fee. The boat then lies directly in the IJsselmeer.

The use of fireworks is not permitted within our park. For many years, we have consciously chosen to maintain a completely firework-free New Year's celebration, allowing our guests, children and pets to enjoy peace and relaxation.

Due to changes in Dutch legislation, a ban on consumer fireworks will apply from New Year's Eve 2026/2027 onwards. Only Category F1 fireworks (such as sparklers and novelty fireworks) will remain permitted for private use. Professional fireworks displays may still take place where the required permits have been granted.

Please note that our firework-free policy applies only within the boundaries of the park. Outside the park, depending on local regulations and circumstances, professional fireworks displays may take place and permitted F1 fireworks may be used.

Important: No fireworks are permitted within the park, including Category F1 fireworks.

There are several playgrounds on the holiday park. There is also a sports field where you can play football, basketball or beach volleyball. Near the centre building there is a small playground with a slide, swings and a climbing tower.

Do you fancy a nice breakfast with fresh rolls in the morning? Throughout the year you can place your order with us. You can order up to 1 day in advance until 17.00 hours. We will make sure your fresh rolls will be ready the next morning. Sandwiches can be picked up at the reception from 08:30 am. On Sundays and public holidays, it opens at 09:00. It is also possible to order groceries.

Note: On Sundays, sandwiches can be collected from reception from 09:00.

Welcome to Restaurant Medemblik, our Restaurant Medemblik is located in the centre building at EuroParcs IJsselmeer and has a large, sunny terrace with a playground.

The terrace is partly located by the water, so it is possible to moor a boat with us. You are always welcome for a fresh cup of coffee with apple pie or freshly baked filled cakes or a delicious cold drink. We serve lunch, dinner and snacks. Enjoy our delicious extensive menu in homely atmosphere.
