Holiday with your dog?

Dogs are welcome at the park! However, your dog must be kept on a lead. Handy: there are special waste bags and waste bins to clean up dog shit. That way, you keep it clean for everyone!

In the surrounding area there are walking routes and nature reserves where you can take your four-legged friend with you (on a lead). For example, recreation area De Vooroever opposite the park. There are also special dog beaches in the area. Good to know: in a number of accommodations pets are allowed. There is no bench, dog shower or carpet in the accommodations. There is no camera or baby monitor either, so if you want one it's best to bring your own. There is a mop to clean up any accidents. Dogs are also allowed in the restaurant and on the terrace.

De Vooroever is a beautiful nature and recreation area of approximately 144 hectares along the coast of the IJsselmeer, between Medemblik and Andijk. You are very welcome in this area.

Please note the following rules:

• Your dog must be kept on a leash.
• Dogs are not allowed on the beach.
• There are designated areas where dogs are allowed to run off-leash.
• Please remember to clean up after your dog.
