Fishing

Our park is located on the Vliet and is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts. All holiday homes have their own private jetty, ideal for both sport fishing and recreational fishing. At EuroParcs IJsselmeer, you can enjoy peace, space, and great fishing opportunities right by the water during your stay. At the accommodation, you are allowed to fish from your private jetty without a fishing license (VISpas), using a maximum of two rods per person. Any caught fish must be released back into the water.

No VISpas is required within the park itself. However, if you go fishing in the surrounding waters, a VISpas is mandatory. You can apply for a VISpas at the nearest angling shop, Hengelsport De Moel, or via the website of Sportvisserij Nederland.

You can catch species such as carp, bream, roach and zander. For more information about fishing in the area, please visit the Visit Medemblik website. 

Swimming from the jetty is allowed, but please be cautious when diving: the depth varies between 80 and 100 cm.
