At our holiday park next to the IJsselmeer you stay in a beautiful park, right on the water, where your dog is welcome in selected accommodations. Here, your dog has plenty of room to play, run and explore. Whether you opt for a short weekend break or a longer stay, this park offers the perfect setting for a holiday with your dog by the water.

A comfortable stay in a holiday home with your dog

At EuroParcs IJsselmeer, you and your dog can enjoy a comfortable stay in one of our pet-friendly holiday homes. A maximum of two dogs are welcome in selected accommodations. At the park, there is plenty of space for your dog to run free. Dogs are also welcome on our terrace and in the restaurant, so you can enjoy a pleasant meal together. To make your stay pleasant for everyone, we provide special waste bags and waste bins to keep the park clean. We do ask that dogs are always on a leash in the park so that everyone can enjoy their holiday in peace.

What to do with your dog in the area

Around EuroParcs IJsselmeer there are plenty of opportunities to be active together. Directly opposite the park you will find the recreational area on the foreshore, an ideal place for long walks and games with your dog. There are also several dog beaches in the area, where your four-legged friend can run and swim freely. The most beautiful walks together with your dog!

Walking route Vooroever & Groote Vliet

The Vooroever & Groote Vliet route is perfect for a varied walk with your dog. This route of about 8.5 km takes you along the dike with a view of the IJsselmeer, the Vlietlanden and via the old canal polder back to Onderdijk. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Here you can enjoy your walk to the fullest.

The Foreshore - Medemblik

Directly opposite the park is the Vooroever, a vast nature and recreation area along the IJsselmeer. Here you can enjoy the fresh air while your four-legged friend runs around in the off-leash areas. There is also a small stretch of beach where dogs can even swim. Just remember to keep your dog on a leash at the park and in other parts of the area.

Off-leash areas in Medemblik

Medemblik has several off-leash areas where dogs can run freely. These areas are perfect for your dog to exercise and play.
